The Michael Teachings

The Michael Teachings offer a fascinating perspective on our existence, our soul’s evolution, and the choices we make throughout our lifetimes. I was introduced to The Michael Teachings through the writings of Jose Stevens a gifted Shaman.

The Michael Teachings are grounded and relevant to our daily lives, helping us understand why things are the way they are and how we can work with them effectively. Here’s a general overview:

Who Is Michael?

Michael is not a person but rather a group entity consisting of one thousand and fifty souls who have completed their Physical Plane lifetimes. They are a Causal Plane teacher,

They communicate with us by channeling through an individual here on the Physical Plane who allows Michael to speak through them.

There are Seven Planes of Existence. Between lifetimes, we dwell on the lower Astral Plane.

  1. physical,
  2. astral,
  3. causal,
  4. akashic,
  5. mental,
  6. messianic, and
  7. buddhaic planes.

Eternal Beings on a Journey

According to Michael, we are eternal beings journeying from the Tao (the source) and back again. Kabbalah refers to The Source as God and The Creator.

Our journey on the Physical Plane (Earth) involves exploration, creativity, and choices that shape our experiences.

We choose one of seven roles or soul types:

  1. server,
  2. priest,
  3. artisan,
  4. sage,
  5. warrior,
  6. king, or
  7. scholar.

We also form soul-level relationships, teaming up with an essence twin and task companion, and taking positions within larger units like entities and cadres.

Overleaves and Personality Formation

  • When planning an individual lifetime, we make choices called Overleaves. These Overleaves form our personality and allow specific achievements.
  • There are seven each of the goals, modes, attitudes, etc.

Soul Ages and Lessons

  • There are five main soul ages on the physical plane: infant, baby, young, mature, and old.
  • Each age has seven levels.
  • Our soul age defines the focus of our lessons: survival, structure, achievement, relationship, or context.

Nine Universal Needs

In The Michael teachings, there are nine universal needs that motivate us unconsciously. These needs inspire spiritual evolution and guide our growth:

  1. Security,
  2. Adventure,
  3. Freedom,
  4. Expansion,
  5. Power,
  6. Expression,
  7. Acceptance,
  8. Communion, and
  9. Exchange.

The Seven Planes of Existence

The Seven Planes of Existence are:

  1. Physical,
  2. Aastral,
  3. Causal,
  4. Akashic,
  5. Mental,
  6. Messianic, and
  7. Buddhaic.

Let’s briefly explore the fascinating concept of the seven planes of existence, each with its distinct characteristics and significance.

Just as there are seven colors in a rainbow and seven tones in a musical scale, these planes form a spectrum of creation. Here’s an overview of each plane:

1. Physical Plane:

  • The physical plane is the densest of the seven planes. It’s where we currently reside—the material world we experience through our physical senses.
  • Here, we interact with tangible objects, navigate time and space, and engage in physical activities.

2. Astral Plane:

  • The stral plane lies beyond the physical. Its medium is **concrete emotional energy**.
  • Between lifetimes, our consciousness focuses here. It’s where dreams, emotions, and thoughts manifest.
  • Astral projection allows exploration without the physical body.

3. Causal Plane:

  • The causal plane operates at a higher vibrational level. Its medium is **concrete intellectual energy**.
  • Michael, a channeled entity, resides on this plane. It’s where abstract concepts, archetypal patterns, and universal truths exist.
  • Our choices and overleaves (personality traits) are planned here.

4. Akashic Plane:

  • The akashic plane is central and neutral, interconnecting the other six planes.
  • It holds the distilled knowledge of the universe, recording everything that happens as it occurs.
  • Imagine it as a vast library of cosmic events, accessible through windows into the past.

5. Mental Plane:

  • The mental plane operates at an even higher frequency. Its medium is abstract intellectual energy, emphasizing truth.
  • Lao-tzu, an infinite soul, taught from this plane. It’s where profound insights and wisdom emerge.

6. Messianic Plane:

  • The messianic plane resonates with abstract emotional energy, emphasizing love.
  • Jesus, an infinite soul, taught from this plane. It’s where compassion, healing, and spiritual guidance flow.

7. Buddhaic Plane:

  • The buddhaic plane is the highest plane of existence. Its medium is pure or abstract kinetic energy.
  • Just before fully reuniting with the Tao (the source), we experience this plane.
  • Buddha, an infinite soul, taught from here, sharing enlightenment and compassion.

The Seven Planes of Existence In Summary

In summary, these planes form a ladder of consciousness, each layer progressively subtler and more abstract.

  • These planes form a ladder of consciousness, each subtler than the previous.
  • Our journey involves moving through these planes, shedding illusions, and ultimately returning to the source.

Remember, The Michael Teachings offer a unique perspective on existence, and exploring them can deepen our understanding of life’s mysteries.

As we evolve, we move through these planes of existence, shedding layers of illusion until we reunite with the source of all existence.

Remember, there are no accidents in the universe — our journey through these planes is purposeful and interconnected.
