Paramhansa Yogananda was an Indian monk, yogi, and guru, and founder of the Self-Realization Fellowship / Yogoda Satsanga Society of India who introduced millions of Indians and westerners to the teachings of meditation and Kriya Yoga.
His first book, published in 1946, Autobiography of a Yogi is on HarperSan Francisco’s list of the “100 best spiritual books of the 20th Century”.
