Why I Created These Recordings
My Spoken Word Recordings began as a simple way to support my own daily spiritual practices. Over time, they became part of my larger mission of Reconnecting With Spirit and of being of service to others.
These voice-only Spoken Word recordings are intended to accompany prayer, meditation, reflection, study, and personal growth.
Many Spiritual Traditions and Practices
They draw upon the many spiritual traditions and practices of My Teachers, Guides, and Mentors that have shaped me as I have journeyed on My Spiritual Paths.
TBI Survivor
As a TBI Survivor, I often find that simple, uncluttered audio is easier to follow and absorb. For that reason, these recordings contain only the spoken word, without background music or other sounds.
What began as a personal practice gradually became an opportunity to share these recordings with others. I hope they may prove helpful to you as well.
Repetition and Practice
Many spiritual traditions make use of repetition through prayers, affirmations, chants, psalms, and meditative readings.
These recordings are designed to support that process. They can be used on their own or alongside mala beads, knotted cords, prayer ropes, or other contemplative tools.
3 Repetitions: Normal Voice – Whisper – Read
Many recordings include three repetitions, allowing you to listen, speak along, or gradually internalize the words.
Other recordings featuring repetition provide guided instructions about how to follow along repeating in:
- Normal Voice
- Whisper
- Reading silently without moving lips
Memorization and Reflection
Many people enjoy memorizing passages that hold personal meaning.
Whether you are learning a psalm, a prayer, an affirmation, or a sacred text, these recordings allow you to follow along and repeat the words as you listen.
Over time, phrases that once lived only on the page can become part of your daily life and practice.
