My Teachers, Guides & Mentors

Teachers, guides, mentors and coaches appear in many forms and often when least expected.

Many times you never meet them but read their words, listen to an audio or see a video. Or perhaps meet one of their students who introduces you to their work.

I have listened to many teachers over the years and heard absolutely nothing that they said. In one ear and out the other. I wasn’t ready to hear what they had to say or teach me. But years later something will lead me to them and I am ready.

I am beginning to build a list here of the teachers, guides, mentors, and coaches who have helped me over the past decades.

I won’t include people such as my principal when I was in Grade 3 and 4. I got to know him very well because I spent most recesses sitting in his waiting room. He was a wonderful man but I was always in trouble. hahaha

Transformative Ways: In Alliance with the Future and the Spirit of the Universe

Who are we called to become as we begin to live in earnestness according to the new laws of the future world?

We have been living in a culture of war.

How do we transform so that we live in the mind, heart and culture of peacemaking and restoration?

Ways to guide us include:

  • Alliance
  • Council
  • Restoration
  • Dreams
  • Visions
  • Transformation
  • Community
  • Generosity of Heart
  • Soul
  • Spirit and
  • Listening to the Ancestors.

What do these Ways really mean in the 21st century and what do they call us to and to become?
