Sandra Ingerman she has been teaching and practicing shamanism for over 35 years and today is one of the most highly regarded teachers of shamanism.
Sandra founded an international alliance of Medicine for the Earth teachers and shamanic teachers.
One of those teachers Jeannette McCullough became my teacher and dear friend.
Medicine for the Earth and Me
My first work with Jeannette was after a heart attack in 2004 and involved a weekend workshop of Medicine for the Earth. This work continued for many years in a monthly Sunday afternoon healing circle where we often did a dismemberment journey.
While I have never met or spoken with Sandra she did request that I be included in a study that she was doing in partnership with University of Michigan Integrative Medicine conducted a pilot research study.
The study shows how the Medicine for the Earth practices that Sandra developed to benefit people who have suffered a heart attack.
While I was accepted into the study I did not participate as the UoM wanted to include me in one of the control groups that did not use the Medicine for the Earth shamanic healing practices. The decision of which participants went into which group was based on a random draw.
Why would I stop doing something that was a benefit to me and saving my life?
Sandra teaches workshops internationally on shamanic journeying, healing, and reversing environmental pollution using spiritual methods.
Sandra is recognized for bridging ancient cross-cultural healing methods into our modern culture addressing the needs of our times.
