A Sanskrit Mantra is a Sanskrit sacred sound, a letter, a syllable, word, phrase, or phonemes, or group of words in with spiritual powers and energy.
A well-known mantra is “OM” or “AUM”.
Sanskrit Mantras That I Use Daily
I have a number of Sanskrit Mantras that I use daily.
These mantras involve the Hindu, Buddhist, and Tibetan Buddhist deities: Shiva, Guan Shi Yin, Ganesha, and Red Jambhala.
- Shiva: “AUM Namah Shivaya”
- Guanyin: “Namo Guan Shi Yin Pusa”
- Ganesha: “AUM GUM Ganapatayei Namaha”
- Red Jambhala: “AUM Ganabadiye Soha” – This is the short form of the mantra. The empowerment to use this was given to me by Master Lu of the True Buddha School. You will notice the similarity to the Ganesha mantra.
