Komyo ReikiDo (pron. Koh-m-yoh Ray-key Do) was developed & founded in Kyoto Japan by Japanese Buddhist Monk & renowned international teacher, Hyakuten Inamoto.
Komyo ReikiDo is a keep-it-simple Reiki system & practice, based on the Japanese aesthetic of Less is More, and exemplified by The Five Reiki Precepts.
Komyo ReikiDo Based on Reiki Ryoho
Komyo ReikiDo is based on Reiki Ryoho as was practised in Japan, that is, a Japanese system based on the traditional Reiki mindset (way of thinking).
Komyo ReikiDo follows the traditional teachings of Usui Sensei and focuses most importantly on the spiritual component of Reiki Ryoho — healing the mind first, and physical component — healing the body through everyday Reiki Ryoho practice.
Twofold Practice
Reiki Ryoho is a twofold practice that has therapeutic and spiritual aspects, implementation of Reiki Principles, leading us to the ultimate objective of Usui Reiki Ryoho — Satori (悟) or Enlightenment (individual understanding of the one’s true nature).
The practice motto is: Place your hands, Surrender & Smile. Simple to learn & profound in the effect on mind, body & inner being.
Komyo = Light or illumination
Reiki = Sacred Energy of the Universe
Do = Spiritual Path or Way
Improvement of Mind & Body
The purpose of Komyo ReikiDo is to strive for the improvement of mind & body through Reiki Ryoho practice, to cultivate a healthy & peaceful life as well as uplift our spirituality & being.
